Homenetmen and traditions go hand in hand. One such tradition that's been an integral part of Homenetmen's fabric is the Victory Ball. It's a banquet that's always taken place during the Navasartian Games. A "Feel Good" party on a grand scale that has been billed as the highlight of the games, and has often been resolutely extolled as the classy affair befitting an organization of Homenetmen's stature. And why shouldn't it be? Homenetmen's Regional Executive Committee runs and manages many committees at the regional level without skipping a heartbeat for twelve months a year. It would be doing itself a disservice if "one night" in an entire year, it does not spoil itself and its army of volunteers and followers. Throwing a bash of the magnitude that it does is without question, well-deserved. What's more, the regions chapters, members, ardent supporters and devotees all get to attend and enjoy a party that manages to be the talk of the town for days and weeks to come.
On Saturday, June 27th, this year's Victory Ball promises to be in the same vein as last year's, if not better. The banquet committee is tirelessly working to reach, if not surpass, last year's success. The red carpet event will be hosted at the much lauded CBS Studios for the second time running, will have Armenian celebrities, live entertainment by accomplished Flamenco Guitarist, Vahagn Turgutyan, whose unique signature sound has earned him many accolades, and Djivan Gasparian Jr., who will be accompany him on the Duduk. A renowned DJ will be there to enliven the atmosphere even further by encouraging the guests to, dance the night away with the Homenetmen Stars. In addition, there will be Cigar and Cognac on offer for those with discriminating taste.
